9-42 meets Nick Beggs
The one where Ant just happened to be in the same spot as Bassist Nick Beggs.
In so many ways Nick is an enigma. Even if it were possible to pin him down to a simple description or single genre, just the very act of trying would be to rob him of his quintessential essence. After all he is the link between Kajagoogoo and Steve Hackett, Howard Jones and Fish, and so many others.
He is a maverick and an innovator, wrapped in a blanket of infectious energy and endearing lunacy and we wouldn't want him any other way. Hopefully be the end of this episode you will feel the same.
It's not a normal 9-42 episode, but it's one we are proud to be able to share, and a great way to kick-off this fourth season. It's good to be back.
P.S Since we recorded this Nick and his wife have launched a podcast of their own called North & South
9-42 is the podcast from the team behind The Guitar Show UK, an annual event held in Birmingham and loved by guitarists young & old. You can keep up with news about the event by visiting the website or by following on your preferred platform Facebook Twitter Instagram
Jason also puts finger to keyboard to produce the Grace Notes newsletter which you can sign up to here
When he isn't faffing about with Jason, Ant also produces other podcasts such as The Corona Diaries with Steve Hogarth of Marillion and his own weekly audio curiosity Therapy For Me. You can keep tabs on Ant by following him on Facebook or by checking out his creator page on Patreon
